Nito is the Lord of the Graves

Grave Grave Lord Nito (Eng. Gravelord Nito) is one of the main bosses in the game Dark Souls and the leader of the covenant of the Servant of the Grave Lord.

Nito lives on the territory of the Crypt of the Giants, it is extremely difficult to find his shelter, as it is well hidden. There is another way to get to Nito. After passing through a completely dark area of the Giant's Crypt, you will find yourself in a lighted area leading directly to the shelter. It is important that the Great Chalice is placed on the Altar of Fire, otherwise the path will be blocked by the Golden Mist.

Nito is the first of the dead, the lord of death. At the dawn of the Age of Fire, he gained one of the Great Souls and in the war against the Dragons, Nito sent a miasma of disease and death upon his enemies.

Externally, it looks like a pile of bones and skulls forming an amorphous silhouette.

Attacks
- One or two semi-circular sword strikes in front of you.
- A dark stroke.

- Capture (his left hand starts glowing red), from which it is best to step back.

Nito's sword attacks apply poison, so it is recommended to either use a Poison Bite Ring, or armor with high poison resistance, or stock up on Blooming Purple Moss.
In a fight with Nito, it is recommended to use holy weapons, as he will summon three skeletons at the beginning of the battle, which will rise up after some time when killed with ordinary weapons. However, these same skeletons can be ignored, exposing Nito himself to attack.Do not run around the location from Nito, try to fight in the same place where you entered the location. The fact is that next to them are Giant Skeletons, which also respawn after death if they are not killed by holy weapons, and the battle will become more complicated. At the same time, after the end of the video with the appearance of Nito, you still need to run a little forward, towards him, in order to avoid a long-range attack, which follows almost immediately if the player just stands still or even if he runs around on the right side. There is a distinctive sound during this attack, you can safely heal, and during the sound, you can quickly dodge.
Nito is extremely clumsy and slow, just circle around him - he will not be able to hit with his sword blow, and after it he will be vulnerable for a long time, the only danger is his AoE or ranged attacks.
Sometimes, at close range, Nito can either grab or stumble on a sword, which with a small amount of health can end quite badly.
He is vulnerable to fire (including pyromania and Black Tar) and celestial weapons.
You also need to remove ALL the objects that create light in one way or another (the Larva of Light, the Spell of Light and the Skull Lantern), as Nito begins to attack more often with his ranged attack.
Tip for archers and mages: Wear a Ring of Mist and a Ring with a slumbering dragon.
Tip for knights: you can just take the Large Axe of the Dragon King, preferably upgraded, and beat Nito with AoE attacks (two-handed weapon, strong blow). So, the skeletons won't bother you either, and Nito himself will die very quickly before he can deal enough damage.
A tip for the phantoms: if you have been summoned and you have a heavenly weapon, it will not work, the skeletons will continue to rise.

It is known that before the main events of the game, a secret cult tried to steal the power of the Lord of the Graves. And what's more, one necromancer did it.
He is the only head of the covenant who needs to be killed to complete the game.
After his death, you can no longer raise your level in the covenant of the Servant of the Lord of the Graves.
Nito cannot be challenged to battle if the player got to him using the coffin. Attacks from a bow or crossbow will pass through him.
In the game, he is described as the "first of the dead", which should probably not be confused with the undead.
After killing Nito, a bonfire appears at the place of his appearance, which can be lit and transported to the others with his help. Also, other skeletons that you did not kill with a holy weapon during the boss fight die.
