Walter, the Old Hunter

Walter, an Old Hunter, is a character in the world of Bloodborne. Originally called Waltre, the Master of the League, later - Waltre, the Monster Eater.

Not much is known about the history of Waltre. He is dressed in atypical clothes for Yarnam, which have a curious description:
A long time ago, a squad of constables from another city chased a monster that fled to Yarnam. These are the clothes they were wearing. The monster killed all the constables except one, who eventually turned and devoured the beast.
This story is often repeated by the natives of Yarnam, who like any story about arrogant outsiders who have paid dearly for their ignorance. Such stories make their blood taste even better.

There is probably some truth to this story, given Waltra's own nickname, the Monster Eater.
