Ana is one of the founders of Overwatch. Her skills serve to protect her hometown and loved ones.

Egypt has suffered greatly as a result of the Uprising of the machines. Exhausted by the battles, the security services often had to rely on elite snipers — in particular, Ana Amari, who was considered one of the best shooters in the world. Due to her unsurpassed skill, determination and developed intuition, she was enlisted in the Overwatch strike force, which managed to end the war.

After successfully completing the mission, Ana was promoted to captain and served as Morrison's deputy commander for many years. Although her responsibilities had increased, even after turning sixty, she insisted on her direct participation in combat operations. While completing a hostage rescue mission, Ana fell victim to a Talon agent known as the "Fateful Widow." She was presumed dead.

In fact, Ana survived, but suffered serious wounds and lost her right eye. As she recovered, she felt more and more clearly how tired she was from years of fighting, and decided not to tell anyone that she was still alive. But over time, seeing how gangs of criminals were rampant in the city, she realized that the desire to protect her fellow human beings was still alive in her heart.

Having "borrowed" some equipment from Overwatch's inventory, Ana returned to service and is now fighting to keep peace in her homeland and eliminate all those who threaten stability in the region.
