Patients call Dr. Ziegler a guardian angel. She is a talented doctor, a brilliant scientist, and an ardent advocate for world peace.

Angela Ziegler went from being an ordinary doctor to becoming the head of the surgical department at one of Zurich's leading hospitals. In addition, she led an innovative research in the field of applied nanosurgery, which made it possible to make a breakthrough in the treatment of life-threatening injuries and diseases. This is exactly what attracted the attention of Overwatch.

The war had left Angela an orphan, and therefore she was disgusted by the militaristic approach to maintaining peace on the planet. But over time, she realized that working at Overwatch would allow her to save many more lives, and took the position of head of the medical research department. Angela sought to find a way to treat soldiers on the front line, in situations where it was necessary to act quickly. The result of her research was the Valkyrie rapid reaction suit, which Dr. Ziegler personally tested during numerous missions of the organization.

Despite her contribution to the common cause, Angela often disagreed with Overwatch's leadership policies and strategy. When the organization disbanded, Dr. Ziegler devoted herself entirely to helping war victims.

Although Angela spends most of her time caring for victims of war, she will not hesitate to wear her costume to protect innocent people from danger.
