Hellboy

Hellboy is a supernatural being from hell. His real name is Anung Un Rama, the son of a fallen angel. He appeared in this world in Scotland on December 23, 1944, as a result of a mystical ritual conducted by Grigory Rasputin on behalf of the occultists of the Third Reich ("Project Ragnarok"). By chance, this imp got to the Americans who were watching a Nazi ritual capable of attracting otherworldly forces and changing the balance of power in World War II.

Raised in America on a military base, Hellboy joined the secret Bureau of Paranormal Research and Defense, created to protect the country from various mystical and otherworldly creatures and forces.

Hellboy's appearance is similar to traditional representations of demons — he has red skin, large curved horns, hooves instead of legs and a long naked tail.
