Harvey Dent

Dent was one of those who supported Batman, he became one of his first allies who are on the side of the law. Dent forms an alliance with Captain James Gordon and Batman to rid Gotham of underworld leaders Salvatore Maroni and Carmine Falcone. Gordon also thought that Dent might have been Batman, but rejected this idea on the grounds that Dent did not have enough finances that Batman possessed. Falcone hires corrupt assistant District Attorney Vernon Fields to provide Salvatore Maroni with sulfuric acid. During the trial of Salvatore Maroni, the mobster threw acid in Dent's face. The acid disfigured the left side of his face, leaving terrible scars, as a result of which Harvey soon goes crazy and descends to the level of those people with whom he has always struggled.
