Buttercup is the exact opposite and vivid contrast of Geralt — he is almost unable to stand up for himself, talkative and very loving. Nevertheless, he is not inferior to Geralt in knowledge of life, humor, and often proves to be wiser than the witcher. His favorite image is that of an eternal child, concerned only with momentary joys and worries. Buttercup is almost always cheerful and almost always in a good mood. Buttercup is kind to everyone and completely sincere. He is completely devoid of any prejudices about representatives of other races (unless they, these very representatives, are trying in any way to harm him personally). He is very devoted to his friends — so much so that in critical situations he will not feel sorry for himself and is even prone to stupid and senseless self-sacrifice, at once forgetting about his cowardice.
