Artorias the Wayfarer of the Abyss - is a boss in the DLC Artorias of the Abyss for the game Dark Souls.

Artorias is one of the four Knights of Gwyn, the legendary Traveler of the Abyss.

After the fall of the Four Kings into Darkness, the knight's task became to fight against dark spirits. However, he could not cope with the threat coming from the village of Olachil, and the abyss swallowed him up; with the last gesture, giving up his shield, he only managed to protect his comrade, the wolf Sif.

That's how we meet him, battered and possessed, but still terrifying. Artorias fights with us only with his right hand, as his working left arm is broken. The armor is distorted by the Abyss, and the greaves are completely crumbling. Artorias now uses an arsenal of dark spells to enhance himself. The only way to save him from the Abyss is to kill him.
