Queen Azshara

Queen Azshara was the beloved ruler of the night elves, but today she is ruled by monstrous nagas. Ten thousand years ago, she was incredibly beautiful and adored by her people, until she began to fall into madness due to the influence of the dark titan Sargeras, lord of the Burning Legion. Malfurion Stormrage was able to defeat her, and during the Great Schism, Azshara, along with most of the Highborne, sank into the depths of the ocean. Under the influence of mysterious dark forces, they turned into the Naga snake people, which Azshara now rules.
