Bellatrix Lestrange

Bellatrix Lestrange (nee. Bellatrix Lestrange (nee Black) is a pure—blooded sorceress, Death Eater, and Voldemort's most ardent henchwoman. Professional in combat magic: second in skill only to the Dark Lord himself. She is prone to madness, very cruel and treacherous, an excellent tactician and strategist.

Bellatrix comes from the ancient magical family of Black, whose representatives were obsessed with the purity of blood. She is the eldest daughter of Cygnus Black and Druella Rosier; she has two sisters, Andromeda Tonks and Narcissa Malfoy, as well as two cousins, Sirius and Regulus Black.

Bellatrix studied at Hogwarts at the Slytherin faculty under Horace Slughorn at the same time as Lucius Malfoy, Avery, the Weasleys and many other characters in the book. But Bellatrix's younger sister Narcissa married Lucius, and she married the son of one of Voldemort's school friends, Rodolphus Lestrange. Although, as it turns out in the seventh book, the only one she loved all her life was the Dark Lord.

Bellatrix and Rodolphus had no children. What was the reason for this is not disclosed in the book. Since Rodolphus hardly appears in the narrative (he is only mentioned, and he is present only in one court scene, which Harry sees in a Pool of memory, but even then he does not utter a word), all conclusions have to be drawn based on the phrases of Bellatrix herself. But she doesn't have many such phrases either. "If I had sons, I would gladly give them to the service of the Dark Lord!" she tells Narcissa at the beginning of the sixth book. There is no doubt that if Bellatrix had children (whether sons or daughters), she would have turned them into Death Eaters and would have flaunted it on every corner.

The First Magical War
Bellatrix joined the ranks of the Death Eaters as soon as the opportunity presented itself, and gained fame as one of Voldemort's most fanatical and violent supporters.

After his disappearance in 1981, she, along with her husband, brother-in-law and Barty Crouch Jr., tried to find her master. For torturing obscurantists Frank and Alice, Longbottom was sentenced to life imprisonment in Azkaban. At the trial, before leaving the courtroom, she stated, addressing the judge, Barty Crouch, Sr.:

"The Dark Lord will be back, Crouch! You can lock us in Azkaban! We'll be waiting for him there too! He will set us free and shower us with mercies! We are the only ones who remained faithful to him! We tried to find him!"

For all her crimes committed during the war, Bellatrix was brought to justice. Unlike other Death Eaters, Bella did not renounce her master, but proudly declared her eternal devotion to him, and that she would wait for his return. During the court session, she sat on a chair for prisoners, as if on a throne.
She was sentenced to life in Azkaban.
