Belphegor

Belphegor, Baal-Fegor (from Hebrew. "Lord of heaven") is an archdemon who often appeared in medieval mysteries.
In the late Kabbalah, Belphegor is one of the ten archdevils (dark forces), a "genius of discovery and invention." Belphegor is well aware of technological issues and the technological progress he supports. In the distribution of the seven deadly sins, he got laziness. Belphegor can take the form of a young attractive woman, which is why he is sometimes considered a female demoness.

In demonology, Belphegor is a demon who helps people make discoveries. He seduces people by offering them clever inventions that will make them rich. According to some sixteenth-century demonologists, his power is stronger in April. Bishop and witch hunter Peter Binsfeld claimed that Belphegor seduces through laziness. When summoned, he can bestow wealth, discoveries, and ingenious inventions. His diabolical role was to sow discord between people and tempt them to evil, due to the distribution of wealth.
