Corvus Corax

"Lord Aurelian, forgive me for my weaknesses. A being of demonic malice prevented the Great Work.
"I don't see a demon."
Kalta-Ar looked back at his brothers. The creature that was chasing them made it to the top of the hill despite a barrage of bolter fire. It scattered the legionnaires with flickering claws, leaving only tattered remains on the stonework of the outer sanctuary.
"This is not a demon," Lorgar raised his staff, calling out to the bloody hurricane that was tearing through the last of the Dark Apostle's warriors."Come to me, brother.
With the latest burst of activity, which turned another legionnaire into shards of ceramite and scraps of flesh, the ghost gathered into a recognizable figure. She was the same height as the demonic primarch, clad in black armor with gauntlets topped with long claws. A pair of wings, made in the form of intricate metal crow feathers, extended from his decorated satchel. His face was white as snow, thin, with coal-black eyes, framed by shoulder-length black hair.
Kalta-Ar felt his breath catch in his throat as he saw the unmistakable features of Corvus Corax, the primarch of the Raven Guard. A barrage of questions flooded his mind, but they all remained unanswered when Corax spoke.
"What happened to you, brother?"
"I have ascended," Lorgar replied. He pointed at Corax, pointing his staff at him."I can ask you the same question."
The raven Lord strode towards Lorgar Aurelian. Kalta-Ar and his warriors scattered before him, glad that they had escaped his wrath. Marduk and his entourage closed ranks around their primarch, but he sent them away with a single glance.
"I am what I have always been," Corax said."I am retribution incarnate. I am justice. This place, located on the other side of the veil, showed our true nature. Under the guise of humanity that our father created for us, we are made up of the warp.
"Have you come to swear an oath to the forces that are our true creators?"
- no. I vowed to destroy all the taint of Chaos in the galaxy. You will be the first fallen brother to die by my blades.
"I am no longer the same being I fought on Istvan," Lorgar replied, raising his mace.
"Just like me!"
Kalta-Ar barely had time to notice Corax's throw, it was so fast. The black wind blew him aside as dark flames shot out from Lorgar's staff with a bang. With the roar of a shockwave that scattered the Word Bearers across the ground, two demigods collided.
