Daenerys Targaryen

Daenerys is the only daughter and youngest child of Aerys II Targaryen and his sister—in-law Raila. The Mad King was killed by Jaime Lannister during the destruction of King's Landing before she was even born. Daenerys' mother and her brother Viserys fled to Dragonstone. On the night Daenerys was born, a violent storm broke out, which is why she is sometimes called Daenerys Stormborn. When Raila died, a devoted Targaryen supporter, Willem Darry, took Daenerys and Viserys to the free cities, where they hoped to find allies who would help regain the Iron Throne. Eventually, the brother and sister find refuge with the master of the city of Pentos, Illyrio Mopatis.

At the time of her first appearance in the books, Daenerys is thirteen years old. She is small in stature, with a delicate build and classic Valyrian appearance: violet (violet) eyes and silver hair. Viserys denies her sister femininity, but after a few years her beauty is praised.

At the beginning of the story, Daenerys is timid and insecure, due to her brother's influence, which Magister Illyrio notices. In her marriage to Khal Drogo, Denis begins to gain character. She is grieving the deaths of Drogo and their son, as well as the deaths of friends in the red wasteland. This tragic experience pushes Denis to the war against the slavers, where she demonstrates both intelligence, cunning and determination in battle, as well as impulsiveness, shortsightedness, and pride. All this caused the loss of control over Astapor, the resistance of the sons of the Harpy in Mierin, and the deployment of a military company led by Yunkai in alliance with Qarth, New Gis, Tolos, Volantis, and others.
