On the one hand, Wade behaves extremely inappropriately, constantly sees hallucinations that sometimes he cannot distinguish from reality, and hears two voices in his head. But on the other hand, despite all the illogic in Deadpool's actions, he almost always defeats his enemies, who are often much stronger than him. One gets the feeling that he thinks everything through from the very beginning to the smallest detail, or he just has remarkable luck and luck. Therefore, in this case, it remains to rely on Wade's phrase: "Genius or madness? I've never seen a difference." In any case, whoever Deadpool is, it's clear that his mental changes are the result of a failed experiment that fused his cancer cells with brain cells.
It is very difficult to determine the position of this character. On the one hand, Wilson is extremely violent by nature and does not look like a hero in any way. But on the other hand, he doesn't beat women and children, he doesn't just torture people, and he's still more human than many of the characters. The reason for this versatility is difficult to find, but we can try to assume that Deadpool's childhood is to blame for everything, which, judging by contradictory fragments of Wade's memories, was very violent. However, Wilson, while at an appointment with an imaginary psychologist, heard a phrase from the doctor: "Your face… It worries you. It drives you to do what you do...". Therefore, the phrase of a non-existent doctor can be interpreted as the subconscious experiences of Deadpool himself. Nevertheless, we should not forget that Wade saved the world more than once and performed so many selfless deeds that simply do not fit in with his cruel nature. However, few superheroes know about these actions. Wilson once uttered an extremely interesting phrase: "Have you ever watched an old cartoon about a squirrel trying to eat a nut? This slow squirrel finds a nut... only it can't break it. It's too complicated. Then she hits him with a sledgehammer, throws him off the stairs, runs over him with a truck, but he doesn't crack in any way. Finally, she... throws him off the roof of the Empire State Building. It breaks down. And do you know what's inside? Another nutshell. And that squirrel is me. Every time, I take a shot to save the world, or do something right, or restore truth and justice, instead of gutting people. And every time I get a new problem. Every time there's another nut inside that I have to crack... and next month... I try again." Indeed, for a long time Deadpool has been trying to stand on the side of good, but every time Wade does something heroic, he has to do something bad, and then another and another, and so on ad infinitum. However, Wilson still doesn't look like a true and selfless hero. Why? The exact answer to this question was given by Spider-Man, who said: "You want to be a good guy, to be loved." But still, I want to say that according to Stan Lee, Deadpool is a true hero.
