Shortly after his release from prison, the Death Fist once again began making plans to involve the entire world in a global war. He believes that only she can make humanity stronger.

Akande Ogundimu was the heir to a respected Nigerian family that owned a company that developed prosthetics. Since childhood, he possessed a sharp mind and natural charm, which helped him expand and strengthen the family business. He devoted his free time to his favorite hobby, martial arts. Akande studied both traditional African systems like dambe or gidigbu, as well as more modern ones; he borrowed the best techniques from them and systematically created his own style. Ogundimu participated in tournaments all over the continent and always prevailed due to his intuition, ability to guess the movements of opponents and truly incredible strength and speed.

However, everything changed after the Uprising of the machines, during which he lost his arm. Akande recovered from his wounds, and the cybernetic prosthesis of his own company even made him stronger, but these changes permanently blocked his way to the competition. Ogundimu tried to immerse himself in his work, focusing all his energy and zeal on business development. But he still couldn't fill the void in his soul... until I met Akinjide Adeyemi, the second Death Fist, the Punisher from Numbani.

Adeyemi offered Ogundim to become a mercenary and fight with him. Akande hesitantly accepted the offer and was soon able to put his new abilities into practice. At some point, Adeyemi brought him to the Talon. Ogundim was very impressed by the organization's belief that wars would make humanity stronger. In addition, the capabilities of the Talon allowed him to prove himself not only on the battlefield, but also in diplomatic negotiations.

Adeyemi was a valuable employee of Talon, but the organization saw much more potential in Ogundim. He was an intelligent and talented commander, able to inspire his subordinates. In addition, Akande did not want to limit himself to attacks on the Numbani, which were commanded by Adeyemi. The difference in views led Ogundimu to kill his teacher and take his glove — and with it, the title of the Fist of Death.

By becoming the Fist of Death, Ogundimu gained the respect of the Talon and began helping plan a conflict that the organization hoped would eventually escalate into a global confrontation. But these plans were not destined to come true. Akande engaged the Overwatch strike force, consisting of Tracer, Winston, and Genji, and was defeated. He was taken into custody and imprisoned in a secure prison for many years; Akande himself patiently waited for the events that he had planned for a long time to happen.

At the appointed time, Ogundimu felt that it was time to return. He escaped from prison and, having easily dealt with the robot defenders of Numani OR15, regained the gauntlet of the Fist of Death. At the moment, Akande has returned to the Talon council and is preparing to unleash a new global war.
