In pursuit of perfection, Hanzo Shimada continuously hones his archery and silent killing skills.

The story of the Shimada clan, a clan of assassins whose power has only grown over the years, is lost in the depths of time. They built a huge criminal empire, thriving on the sale of weapons and drugs. Hanzo, the eldest son of the head of the clan, was bound to eventually take his father's place. A natural leader, an expert in strategy and tactics, he has been preparing for this post since an early age. But he also excelled in more practical areas: martial arts, swordsmanship, and archery.

When Hanzo's father died, the elders of the clan instructed the young man to bring his younger brother back to the true path and rule the Shimada Empire with him. But his brother rejected his offer, and Hanzo was forced to kill him. The incident struck the young man so much that he renounced his father's inheritance and left the clan and everything he had been preparing so hard for.

Now Hanzo roams the world, honing his martial arts and trying to restore his honor in order to finally put to rest the ghosts of the past.
