The Pirate

The Pirate's Code is personal freedom and loyalty to the captain, crew, and ship (in that order).

• Everyone is required to follow the orders of the captain and his attorneys.
• A sailor has the right to defend himself and his honor.
• Everyone has the right to challenge to a duel. Whoever accepts the challenge can choose a weapon. No one has the right to interfere in a duel until one of the participants has died or surrendered.
• The spoils are divided as follows: one share for ordinary sailors; three shares for the captain; two shares for the master carpenter, boatswain, and gunners.
• A coward who abandons the team will be disembarked from the ship. He can take a gun and a bottle of water with him.
• For laziness and dirty weapons, a crew member loses a share of the loot.
• Punishment for assault against a crew member is 40 lashes on the naked back.
• Each team member has the right to vote on important issues.
• Each team member has a share in the captured food and drink.
• Those caught stealing from the crew members lose their nose and ears and are left on the shore.
• It is forbidden to hide women on board a ship on pain of death.
• No one can leave the crew until each person has made 500 gold crowns.
• None of the crew members can fraternize with a wizard or any other practitioner of the dark arts.
