Planet of the Apes (film)

A spacecraft sent from Earth to one of the stars of the constellation Orion at near-light speed lands on an unknown planet. The crew members, led by Commander Taylor, go in search of life and soon find a group of wild people. But they don't have time to figure out what's what. Suddenly, intelligent, dressed, and armed monkeys appear, trapping humans like wild animals. Astronaut Dodge is killed. Taylor, one of the survivors, has damaged vocal cords, which makes him unable to speak for a while. Together with other wild people, he ends up in the research laboratory of Dr. Zira the chimpanzee. Soon, she discovers that Taylor is much smarter than the local people, begins to sympathize with a reasonable person, and later helps him escape to freedom. But a very sad discovery awaits Taylor on the outside.: It turns out that the planet of the apes is Earth in two thousand years.
