Rogue (X-Men)

Rogue (also known as Rogue and Rouge, alias — Anna Maria, English Rogue, Anna Marie, Rogue's full name is revealed as Marian Carlile in Ultimate Comics X-Men #1.) is a Marvel Comics character, a member of the X—Men. Created by writer Chris Claremont and artist Michael Golden. First appears in Avengers Annual #10 (August 1981).

Like most mutants, Rogue perceives her abilities as a curse, because the inability to touch people causes her suffering (hence the nickname "Rogue" — "Rogue"). When in contact with living flesh, she absorbs mental energy, which allows Rogue to acquire the memory, skills, and character of a human, mutant, or even alien. If superpowers originate from the mental plane, then he acquires the ability to use them as well. If the abilities depend on artifacts or technology and are not related to the mental work of the recipient's brain, then Rogue cannot use them. Rascal prefers to wear gloves in order to protect others, but she is too relaxed with those who know about her abilities. Perhaps because of her brash nature, Rascal is not only one of the most dangerous, but also the most charming characters. Born in the southern state of Mississippi, she earned the nickname "Beauty from the South" among the X-Men.

Rascal was originally a tramp, then she was adopted by a Mystic from the Brotherhood of Mutants. But after the side effects of her frequent use of mutant powers (after absorbing Miss Marvel's personality) began to threaten her sanity, she turned to the X-Men.

In several alternate universes, she is married to Gambit. They have a daughter, Rebecca, and a son, Oliver.
