Sanguinius

Sanguinius (also known as the Great Angel) He was one of the twenty primarchs created by the Emperor at the dawn of the Imperium, immediately after the end of the Age of Strife. He, like the rest of the primarchs, was swept away from Terra and thrown onto a remote world. He gained feathered wings while traveling in the warp. He was considered the primarch with the purest heart and soul. Sometimes, Sanguinius was visited by visions of the near future, which later came true, from which it can be concluded that the primarch was a psyker oracle. During the Horus Heresy, he took part in the defense of the Imperial Palace, where he proved himself to be a great warrior. He was killed by Horus in a duel on the Vengeful Spirit, but before his death he damaged the traitor's armor. Sanguinius' sacrifice allowed the Emperor to end Horus and stop the Heresy.
