Sekiro

The action takes place in a fictional version of the Sengoku period in Japan at the end of the XVI century. The warlord Isshin Asina captures the land of Asina, making a bloody coup. At the same time, an unnamed orphan is adopted by a wandering shinobi Owl, who gives him the name Wolf.

Twenty years later, the Asin clan is on the verge of collapse due to a weakened, old, and sick Isshin. The clan's enemies are steadily approaching from all sides. Desperate to find a way to prevent the fall of his clan, Isshin's grandson, Genichiro Asina, captures the Divine heir Kuro, hoping to use his blood, which contains a certain power called the "Legacy of the Dragon", to create an immortal army. The wolf, who has become a full-fledged shinobi and Kuro's personal bodyguard, tries to prevent this, but is defeated in a fight with Genichiro and loses his left arm.

The surviving Wolf wakes up in an abandoned temple, where he meets a Carver, a former Shinobi, who now carves statues of Buddha. The carver replaces the lost arm of the Wolf with a complex prosthesis that can operate various devices and weapons. The Sekiro Wolf gets its name from Isshin in the form of a Tengu, which means "One—armed Wolf".

With this prosthetic, the Wolf attacks Asin's castle and confronts Genichiro again, defeating him. Despite being able to leave Asina Castle forever, Kuro decides to stay and perform the Immortal Severance Ritual, which will destroy the Dragon's Legacy and prevent anyone else from fighting for him to gain immortality. The wolf reluctantly agrees to help Kuro and goes to the areas surrounding the castle to collect all the necessary components for the ritual. Upon his return, he meets Filin, his adoptive father, who was previously presumed dead. The Owl says that he also wants to get the Dragon's Legacy and orders the Wolf to renounce his loyalty to Kuro. Next comes the branching of the plot.

- If the Wolf decides to abandon his loyalty to Kuro, then he has to fight with the healer Emma and the elderly Isshin. After their deaths, the Owl boasts that nothing is holding him back from invading Japan, but the Wolf kills the Owl with a stab in the back. Kuro, seeing this, realizes that the Wolf has become a victim of his bloodlust and a creature known as Sura. Subsequently, the Wolf will slaughter almost the entire population of Asina, and many years later rumors about the demon will be circulating in the country.

- If the Wolf decides to stay loyal to Kuro, he will be forced to fight the Owl and kill him. Then the Wolf will make his way to the Divine Kingdom, where he will have to fight the Divine Dragon and get his tear, necessary for the ritual of Immortal Rupture. Returning to Asin's castle, he discovers that Isshin has died from an illness that has plagued him for many years, and taking advantage of this, his enemies began to storm the castle. The wolf reunites with Kuro, but they are ambushed by Genichiro. The wolf will enter the final battle with him and come out victorious, after which the defeated and desperate Genichiro will sacrifice himself to resurrect the young and full of strength Isshin. To prevent this, the Wolf is forced to fight him and kill him.

Next, there are three possible endings based on the Wolf's previous actions.:

- If the Wolf wins without learning about the Purification ritual and finding the Fragrant Flower, Kuro will swallow the Dragon's tear and order the Wolf to kill him in order to finally achieve the Immortal Gap. The wolf will reluctantly follow Kuro's orders and kill him. After that, the Wolf will become a carver and will carve Buddha statues to atone for his deeds, while preserving a prosthetic leg for the next shinobi.

- If the Wolf wins after learning about the Purification ritual and finding a Fragrant Flower, he will give Kuro a Dragon Tear and a Flower, and sacrifice himself instead of killing Kuro, ensuring that he can live the life of a mere mortal. Some time later, Kuro visits the grave of the Wolf before setting off on his journey.

- If the Wolf can get the Frozen Dragon Tear from the Divine Child, Kuro will swallow the Frozen Dragon Tear and soak into the Divine Child's heart. With Kuro's spirit inside, the Divine Child will travel west to the birthplace of the Divine Dragon to return the Dragon's legacy to its rightful place in the Divine Kingdom. The wolf will accompany the Divine Child and Kuro on their journey.
