The Space Wolves

The Space Wolves, also known as the Heavenly Warriors of Russ, the Wolves of Fenris (Vlka Fenryka in Fenrisian), the Executioners of the Emperor— the VI Legion from among the twenty legions of space Marines. The primarch is Leman Russ. After the Horus Heresy and the reforms that followed, it was divided into two orders for the first and last time: the new Space Wolves, who inherited the legion's name, and the order called the Wolf Brothers. The Second Order fell victim to a mutation and was disbanded. At the moment, it is not known for sure whether there are any Space Wolf successor orders at all.

The Space Wolves are notorious throughout the Imperium for their savagery in combat, their disregard for authority, and their disregard for the provisions of the Codex Astartes, which regulates the organization and combat doctrines of other Space Marine chapters.
