"DISORDER IS THE TRUE ENEMY OF HUMANITY"

Symmetry literally distorts reality. Manipulating constructions of "hard" light, she creates the world the way she wants it to be, hoping to create an ideal society.

After the end of the Uprising of the Machines, the South Indian Vishkar Corporation began the laborious process of creating a new type of self-sustaining cities capable of accommodating the country's war-deprived residents. One of these cities, called Utopia, was built using the revolutionary technology of "hard" light, which allows architects to change the outlines of its streets, houses and structures in the blink of an eye.

Young Satya Vashwani was selected as one of the few architects capable of working with "hard" light, having rescued the girl from the bonds of appalling poverty and placed under the wing of the Vishkar Architectural Academy Corporation. She was not destined to return home. Satya, who lived in seclusion, devoted herself entirely to study and training. She quickly grasped practical ways to apply technology and was one of the best students in her class. She had her own approach to working with "hard" light, different from the classical one: while everyone was creating formulaic mechanistic designs, she created, inspired by movements from the traditional dances of her homeland.

Although Satya was one of the leading architects of Utopia, Vishkar Corporation saw much more potential in it. She was given the name of Symmetry and began to be sent to different parts of the world on secret missions, the goals of which were to protect the interests of the corporation and spread its influence to other countries.

Symmetra sincerely believes that her actions are for the benefit of society, but sometimes she is overcome by doubts that the control and order she craves is really good.
