Yoda is one of the most powerful Jedi masters in the history of the Galaxy, a 66 cm tall man who belonged to an unknown race. He is known for his legendary wisdom, mastery of the Force, and lightsaber fighting skills.

Devoted to the Republic and the Force, Grand Master Yoda trained the Jedi for eight centuries, served on the Supreme Council, and was the de facto head of the organization during the final years of the Galactic Republic before, during, and after the devastating Clone Wars.

After Order 66, Yoda went into exile, and later taught Luke Skywalker the ways of the Force. Some time later, the old master died, but thanks to the knowledge of the Priestesses of Power, he retained his identity in the form of a Ghost.
